check the internet as there are lots and lots of different grants that can also be had. You can file for as many as you (your little one) can find. Some are very small and others are enough to cover the books which can be in the $100's alone. Grants are as easy as knowing if the plan is to go into farming as example, there are many farm grants. You just need to find them and file for them.

The High School should also be able to point you in a few directions.

Talk with other parents and share with each other different ways found.

One thing we did was check with one of those companies that helps you find grants and such. We did not go that way as we thought it was a waste of money because we did better by doing the above mentioned.

All this takes time but can sure help out in good ways.

Also our son found it much cheaper to rent the books needed instead of buying them. I think he only absolutely had to buy two or three books his whole 5 years. Those happened to be Required books the professor said you must have and own. Fine print will find the professors name as the author or a contributor to that book. Did I say kick back.
