Poker at the Craig Road Cannery

Hi, Ross, when I visited the Cannery, there was at least one poker game going on (I think). The table was on the main floor, but sort of perpendicular to the other gaming tables (blackjack, craps, etc.). That is, not in a separate Poker Room. I say "I think" because . . . I don't play cards and can only guess at what the players were doing. They could have been playing solitaire for all I know. But that sounds like a boring pursuit for Las Vegas! Anyway, they were all using $1 chips, piles of 'em. I looked to see if any were "new" dollar chips and they were not. I don't know if a similar poker game was going on at the Eastside Cannery. Walked in, saw the same old stuff on the tables, and walked out, going back to Sam's Club for Killer Chips and to retrieve my car.

About "moseying" over to the various casinos: I don't live in Las Vegas and only go there maybe 3 times a year. So, my next opportunity to go casino-moseying will be on a couple of February evenings after the Casinorama Show. I'm willing to try but think that some of the "locals" like Roger Herman will surely get the information, if not the chips, well before then.
