Whenever someone submits a chip that is identical to a chip already on the ChipGuide, but it has a color variation, I always ask for a scan with both chips side by side. Scans and photos will show different colors for the same chip based on scanner technology, lighting and the condition of the chip. Usually it turns out to be the same chip.
