NCR Rolling Back Government: New Zealand did it

Because I send some money each year to the Mecratus Center at George Mason University, they sent me a CD with an extended discussion by Maurice McTigue of what New Zealand did to make government accountable. He basically remade the government and political system in N.Z. and is now at Mercatus Center working to apply some of the same principles to US and its government situation. I almost threw the CD away, but instead listened to it and the guy worked a miracle in a Country that was in even worse shape than ours! I felt I wanted to read him in another context so here's a link to an article he wrote for Imprimis 10-12 years ago.

I think its appropriate as a thought stimulator in our preparation for visiting the voting booth next month.

If anyone would like the CD I mentioned, email me and I'll send it to you. About 1 1/2 hours of his presentation to an audience. He also answered questions that were submitted to him in the second half on what he did in N.Z. and how that might apply to the USA.
