Hi Torrey. Let me tell you what I know

10 years ago in 2006 there were two large batches of PALS chips on eBay for a buy it now. One batch was for the $10, $5, $1, 25c and 5c. Crest & Seal chips. The second batch was for the $25 and 10c HOT STAMP PAL’S on the Jones Brothers Large Squares Mold. Both auctions were from the same seller in New Orleans. In both descriptions it said “This set comes from a recent New Orleans estate sale”. I strongly feel both style chips are from the same location. Jones Bros. was a small distributor and very rarely supplied chips out of the Louisiana area. There are 7 different known PAL”S chips with two different molds. My firm deduction is that all the chips were used in the Louisiana area. My impression is the operation was larger than smaller and ran for a while. I do believe that someday the location will be found. I did buy the batch of HOT STAMPS and just missed the Crest & Seal chips buy 10 minutes sad .

I do have the hot stamp chips for sale. The $25 chips are in nice shape and I have more than 12 each. All the 10c chips are used. I only have 12 each of the 10 cent chips so I only have 12 sets for sale.

Having fun Steve grin
