Speaking for myself and probably a majority of dice collectors - The different color shades and transparencies can affect price somewhat. I would think that almost all the dice are really transparent, but it is the finish applied to the outside that affects being able to see through it. Just as in any collectible what is aesthetically pleasing to the eye may be more valuable. If one looked better to me then maybe I would pay more for it. Which type are scarcer also? If you have 55 pairs of one kind and 10 of another and only 5 of the third type you might ask more for the scarcer type - especially if it was the best looking. The logo is of course very important. Is it complete? How many colors does it contain? Is it just words or does it have cool graphics like a slot machine or say a horse in the case of the Hacienda? How popular was the casino? In the end it all comes down to supply and demand.
