I realized the other night that I've skipped over just being Middle Aged to Dinosaur status:

Took the 13 year old kid I watch to the skate park. Decided to get out of the truck and go over and watch all of the skateboarders doing their tricks. So, got my Rollator walker out of the back of the truck, rolled on over and set it against a light pole next the to path, so as to be able to lean back and have my back supported by the pole. OK, so it's bad enough that I'm in a "walker" while everyone else is jogging by, but then I realized that most all of them were reading stuff on their Phones and Pads, while I was reading a actual PAPER BOOK.

All I needed was a granny squares blanket over my legs, and someone might have called the cops to have them take the escapee back to the old folks home!
