South Dakota had a similar relationship: Ft. Pierre across from Pierre, the State Capitol, had the bars, gambling, & other activities--still does; and since it is in Mountain time, the Pierre folk could spend an extra hour boozing and what not across the river. But, unlike Mandan, i know of no gaming chips from the Ft. Pierre places.
