My newest acquisition from Lost Vegas. *NCR*

I was unable to attend the convention (again) this year because of managing our annual regulatory exam at work (again), but now that they're gone and I can come up for air, I wanted to reconnect with the Chip Board and share my latest casino-themed acquisition.

My wife and I have wanted one of these for years (because, who wouldn't?!?), and thanks to Rich at Lost Vegas Antiques our dream is finally a reality. We have to replace a couple of broken windows, replace the Lady Luck signs (so as to not offend the sensibilities of our conservative Utah neighborhood...lol), and install some bookshelves, and our "Little Free Library" (neighborhood book exchange) will be up and running in a couple of weeks. However, I thought you all would appreciate it in its 'original' state from the Lady Luck (used in the casino promotions department for free calls home, back when the Lady Luck was still in existence, and a free long-distance call would have been a valuable amenity vbg). In any case, I'm a book nerd, a fan of all things British, and collect casino memorabilia, so this makes all aspects of my nerd-geek soul happy. grin

A special thanks and shout-out to Rich Burgel of Lost Vegas Antiques, who in addition to hooking me up with the booth, personally oversaw trucking it up from Vegas, and turned a potentially stressful experience of arranging the long-distance logistical arrangements of moving around a 750kg bohemoth into a low-stress and worry-free experience for me. I'm a happy and satisfied customer grin.

Thanks for letting me share. grin
