those of us who can't go to the convention (which has been every year for me so far). I remember the year Von organized a bunch of really fun chip shows on the board, the convention cam was up and running and there were some pictures of the pre-gathering and splash bar fun. The last few years have been really dead. It's a function of the state of the hobby, imho.
