So I have what I consider a green thumb, my friends would agree, but I just can't keep an orchid alive. I kill em dead every time. I've tried misting them, putting an ice cube in their pots once a week, etc.

Do you have any tips? We live in the desert (outside Palm Springs) but I can't find a place in the house or watering cycle they like.
