I believe this chip is a sample. I have seen a similar Langworthy $1 from the Grubstake, however it is a darker yellow w/ cream inserts. It has been know for some time now but I think the opinion is as is likely with this one that it's a sample and therefore not listed in the CO guides. The yellow chip is also thought to be a "one of a kind". I have the latest and greatest guides, neither list this white/black one or the yellow/cream one I mentioned.

To my knowledge there were never $1 chips in play at the Grubstake. $5 chips, $1 tokens and good ole' quarters were used at the one or two tables this short lived casino had.
