Why does it take 100 people to treat one

case of Ebola? What if there were 10 cases to be treated? Do we have a thousand people trained and standing by to treat that many? If not what would happen if there were that many cases in the US. Would we treat some and not others? Seems to me that this thing is blown all out of proportion. Let's use a little common sense here.
