Yes, I had a lot of those inlaid playing card chips. Never cared for them. Sold virtually all of them except I kept the full deck on white chips:

The ace of spades looks like:

I don't know how or why they came about -- I thought it was just to dress up the chips. They came in red, white and blue.

I never had that many of the other type. Thought it might have something to do with which suit was trump. Maybe table markers in a big bridge or whist tournament.
