Die Cut Of The Day

Bud Meyer found the JDH chips. They came from an estate sale. There is plenty of info on the internet about John H Dollar, Dollar Steamship Line, his family, and President Cruise Line which still operates today. I've been on over 100 cruises but never sailed President. At least than I can remember. vbg

Vice-president of the Dollar Steamship Line 192?-1936. Husband of Agness Barr Dollar (1907-1936) and the father of Robert Dollar, II (1912-1973), Alice Barr Dollar Hayden (1917-1997), Virginia Dollar (?) and John Harold Dollar, Jr. (1919-1917) all of whom were born in Shanghai, China. Harold Dollar lived in Shanghai from 1907-1927.
Robert Dollar took over the business

Ran it until:

President Cruise line bought them out and changed the name.

In the past I have been known to send this type of chip to Steve Passalacqua asking if it was a "Die Cut" or a "Reverse Die Cut." vbg I guess he got tired of the emails and sent me this. Thank you Steve.
