Re: Vintage Poker Chip Question?

Thanks Robert, I was hoping you would see this.

More of a shoe box full, than a set of any sort, assorted styles and types. When it hit $45 I decided I was out of my knowledge territory and dropped. That and often values are right but recovering the investment takes too much effort. grin

There's an antique barn near here, and I have been asking him since it was a 30 mile drive, the guy says, he's done estates and has never seen a casino chip. The other question for years has been "any casino postcards".

I'm out in farm country now and when they do the estate auctions, all kinds of interesting things come up. This weekend was Salt glaze and old jugs and pottery. Nothing for me. Lots of glass and ceramics usually and tons of junk art. Tools? I have so many already, I don't look anymore. By the bucket full. I'm going to be satisfied with poker chips, anything casino and Jefferson nickles.

I have books on tokens and poker chips, but old. Thanks for the current relative value.
