That's the famous Tiffany-style glass barrel-vault ceiling above, at the Trop LV. Cost lots of money in its day!

Because the glass is fragile, they engineered a shock-absorber type system that the entire glass structure fits into, in order to cushion it from flexing and expansion / settling in the surrounding building.
