Sunday was our 57th wedding anniversary. The plan was to eat our meals at restaurants and go flea marketing looking for casino collectibles etc.
We went to the Dining car for breakfast. This is a local Philadelphia favorite eatery. We knew the waitress & told her it was our anniversary. She then told the hostess who came to our booth & presented us with a Jewish Apple & walnut cake. She then took & picture & told us it would be on their Facebook page. We had a great breakfast to start our day.
Ann & I went to several local flea markets. It was a sucessful venture so we decide to go to Lancaster county & continue our flea marketing. It got late so we decided to come home Monday. After breakfast at Shady Maple we found some indoor flea markets in New Holland Pa. We then took rt 772 east which I knew nothing about. It was beautiful scenery & a great drive ending in Intercourse, Pa. This is a great PA Dutch town with plenty to see & do. Next time I must take my camera.
It was after 7 pm when we got home. This is why there was no posts by me on Monday. We did however get some casino collectibles for future posts. Thanks, Al & Ann
