Re: NCR My Life Coach, Mentor and Hero

So sorry for your loss, Ruben.

My Dad passed away last year, he was 86. Dad lived in his own home in South Louisiana (relatives close by) by himself since 2000, when Mom died. His health had been declining for a few months prior to his death. I live about 240 miles from his place, and I made frequent weekend visits. When I saw his condition during my last visit, I decided that I'd have to go stay with him. My brother who lives in Cape Girardeau, Mo was on his way down to relieve me, so I could go home and get things in order before coming down to stay with Dad. About 2 hrs. before my bro would have gotten there, I called an ambulance, because Dad was having real problems. Last that I saw of him alive was when they had loaded him. I raced to the hospital only to find that he had died enroute.

I am glad that you were able to spend that time with him, I wish that I could have.

Your Dad sounds much like mine, not only your father, but a wonderful man to have known.
