My Flea Market finds grin

My Flea Market finds in South Korea

I get envious of people finding casino stuff at flea markets and yard sales.
It's my turn to show you the "stuff" I've found here in South Korea.

Living in a big city like Seoul has it's shortcomings.
Getting to the flea market is literally "bumper" to "bumper" traffic.

Of course there are alternatives like the very affordable subway system.

There are only three more flights of stairs of this length left to negotiate.

Approaching the market I saw an odd looking fellow.

He even had a sweatshirt with his face on it.

At the market the first vendor I came across was roasting something that smelled strange.

I took a closer look and decided to pass on it.

I haven't eaten roasted centipedes my entire life and I wasn't about to start.

I then came across fresh seafood. I can handle raw seafood, let's see what they have.

Gulp! I decided to pass on the fresh seafood.

I came upon a vendor handing out samples to entice you to buy.
She placed it in my hand. When I looked at the sample I almost gave it back.
I didn't want to be rude so I thanked her and continued walking.

I tossed it in the trash right after taking the picture!

This is what it looks like when alive,

except it was fried and coated in something.

Next I saw some critters crawling inside blue netted bags.

I moved closer to get a better look and immediately jumped back!

These were Yellow Jackets!
I've had bad experiences with them in Hawaii. After getting stung it made my arm swell up to twice it's size! They are nasty!
The vendor said this is a health food. I said, "Thank you, I'll pass".

Maybe some fish for dinner. I love fish!

Gawd, those were the ugliest fish I had ever seen.
I could never stomach these!

It had been a long day with zero results.
Some day, hopefully, I will find casino items.
I'm still envious of those of you that find all the good stuff!
