NCR US "Atlantic, Escape & Evasion" gold rings

I bought some of these back in 1980 when the US govt was still running surplus sales. These were small rubber encased kits the flyers in WWII carried in case they were downed in enemy territory and need something to barter with. The kits sold at auction for around $800-$1000 each. Most had gold rings and European gold coins (like British sovereigns). Some had gold watches.

I opened and discarded the rubber cases to see what was in mine. Kept the coins, but would like to sell the 5 or 6 gold rings. They are marked with different fineness and some have cast designs on them but not handmade. Undamaged, but not likely something you'd likely want to put on your bride's finger these days.

Since you do a lot of jewelery purchase and resale, John, do you think these have anything more than melt value?

The photos below are not of my lots, but from another purchaser who was selling them years ago.

I'm posting this here rather than in an email because a few others might like to view it for historical information.
