NOW MEETING AT THE EL CORTEZ CASINO!!!!

SEPTEMBER IN THE FIESTA ROOM, GROUND FLOOR, NEXT TO CAFÉ EL CORTES & THE KENO LOUNGE!

On behalf of the members and officers of the SOUTHERN NEVADA CASINO COLLECTABLES CLUB you are cordially invited to attend our monthly meetings!

The next meeting is Tuesday, September 9, at 7PM! The trading and/or selling of casino memorabilia can commence as early as 6PM and will resume following the meeting. You are invited for the meeting and/or the trading sessions. We meet at the El Cortez Casino in downtown Las Vegas! The address is 600 E. Fremont St

Valet parking is available and the parking garage for the El Cortez is directly behind the casino with a security guard at the entrance!

(A SMALL SIDEBAR; A FEW FOLKS HAVE INDICATED THE EL CORTEZ IS HARD TO FIND. IF YOU ARE ANYWHERE NEAR OR CAN GET TO MARYLAND PARKWAY AND TAKE IT NORTH OF ALMOST ANYTHING YOU CAN HANG A LEFT TURN ONTO FREMONT ST. AND THE EL CORTEZ WILL BE ON YOUR RIGHT, TURN RIGHT AT 6TH STREET FOR VALET, GO AROUND THE BLOCK FOR GARAGE (SECURITY) PARKING! FROM CHARLESTON BLVD ITS NORTH ONTO MARYLAND PARKWAY AS IT IS FROM ALMOST ALL YOUR EAST -WEST STREETS SOUTH OF CHARLESTON!)

We are having an auction as well and you can see the list of items and the scans in this message! You are welcome to email me if you cannot make it in person with your highest bid and your CCGTCC or local membership number and which lot you want to bid on! Payment for winning bids are due at the end of the auction, if you are an absentee winner I will send you an invoice! We are currently NOT looking for items for our October auction, BUT you can email me and/or bring items with you for future auctions! Any form of casino memorabilia is welcome! The club takes a 20% seller’s fee!

THIS MEETING MAY FEATURE TWO DIFFERENT PRESENTATIONS, ONE FROM DOUG SAITO WITH ITEMS TO SELL AND POSSIBLY A SPEAKER FROM THE TROPICANA! MORE NEWS TO FOLLOW! LAST MEETING BEFORE THE OCTOBER FEST OF OUR SHOW, OUR MEETING AND DOUG’S AUCTION!

We also run a 50/50 raffle for cash and/or prizes which is quite a lot of fun!

If you are not yet a member or your membership has lapsed we invite you to join the SNCCC! A year’s membership is only $12.00 payable at the door! You are, of course, welcome as a guest to see what we are all about!

The meetings are pretty short; lots of fun BEFORE, DURING and AFTER!

A decision was made more than two years ago that our club, the SNCCC, needed to be more inclusive as the number of folks in Las Vegas who dealt solely in casino memorabilia was less than the NATIONAL club, the could attract. We have been very pleased that a number of folk dealing in collectibles in the broadest sense of the word have joined us each time we have run a LOCAL but highly successful show. This show has, each and every time, returned a substantial amount of money to the LOCAL club's treasury!

The NATIONAL club, the has tried on a number of occasions to attract other collectible dealers and has unfortunately not been successful. The folks that work long and hard to make the LOCAL show a success are quit proud of their accomplishments and the LOCAL club, the Southern Nevada Casino Collectible Club benefits from the exposure as do the dealers of other collectibles!
