(1) Venetian Hotel and Casino. A 40 page booklet mailed out to "friends" of the Venetian prior to the opening in 1999 announcing what you could expect the hotel/casino to look like when it opened. Photos/floor plans of the suites and renderings of public spaces. Photos of Venice that they hoped to recreate. And several mentions of "the second phase, The Venetian's companion resort, The Lido....." Guess that part didn't work out, at least with that name!
