Craig's list incident

I have a used Cadillac for sale and listed it on Craig's list. A guy responded and said he would buy it. He said it was for his son and would pay by paypal. He also asked me to pay the driver that would deliver it to him in Indiana, of course he would include that fee with his payment for the car.

Sounds too good to be true, RIGHT? The next day he requested that I send the $800 shipping fee to Indiana and that he would pay by paypal immediately. I got a notice with confirmation number from "paypal"....it looked official. I checked my paypal account but no ddeposit...I called paypal and they informed me that this was a fraud....

I sent him an email and told him that he has been reported to paypal and the local authorities..never heard from him....I ran his email address on Google and several email addresses close to his revealed similar fraud schemes.

Be very careful, crooks are running wild......if it sounds too good to be true...double check everything.....I still have my car and my money.......
