Although eBay final value fees are generally 10%, there is a $250 maximum for most items.

I don't think PayPal has a max, but I would imagine if the buyer is genuine there might be a cashier's check, wire transfer, or similar payment. I can't imagine PayPal and the U.S. Post Office being used for a transaction of this nature.
