While looking around for old chips on eBay, I chanced upon this item. I have placed it on my watch list just for the vicarious pleasure of seeing what it is going to sell for. This is an issue of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman. Another copy of this same comic holds the record for the highest price ever paid for a comic book, $2.61 million. This copy, which is in much better condition, is now at just over $2 million, and with three days to go, may well break the record. Oh, to be a Silicon Valley billionaire. ;)
