The High Sierra 2.50 varieties

Here is a side by side comparison of the two varieties of the 2.50 chip from High Serra in South Lake Tahoe. This place was Sahara Tahoe, High Sierra, Horizon, and soon to be Hard Rock Lake Tahoe.

The chip on the left was made in 1988 and is the one with textured-surface inlay and darker orange inserts.

The one on the right is apparently a reorder and has smooth-surface inlay and lighter orange inserts.

Both are given TCR catalog number N5164, with a .1 suffix for the one with lighter color inserts. Sides and inlays are the same on both sides, and both are short cane H&C mold. The inserts on both varieties fluoresce brightly. Both varieties are shown in The Chip Guide.

I am offering these for sale at $30 each, shipping included. If you want both varieties, you can have them for $55. The chips have not been cleaned. Both of them will stand on edge.
