I guess I should of been a little more discriptive. This is an actual clay pot. Your original Tea Pots were made of clay and date back even before the time of Christ. How do you think the tea pot came about in Boston. Our ancestors from Europe in turn getting that from good ol Marco Polo..... This tea pot holds over 260 gallons. Got your 227 beat. :-) Thanks
