aside from the differences of coupons inside, there are 2 different back designs. Both with and without the Hotel Nevada. Only 2 books have the date (like yours) and they were both printed by Century Graphics. The back design includes the Hotel Nevada.

The other books are all printed by Bonanza Printing. The 5 without Hotel Nevada all use Bonaza Printing's stagecoach logo and 1 of the others uses "BONANZA PRINTING" spelled out.

According to TCR, Hotel Nevada/Nevada Hotel was open 1974 - 1988 and the 1992 to ??.

I would suspect that the books I have without Hotel Nevada are after 1989. They cannot be pre-1974, because the Gold Spike was not until 1981 or 1983.

Barry, what locations are noted on the back of your book? Theoretically, the Gold Spike should not be there.
