I've posted these before, but for newer viewers, these double-ended pencil erasers are used in Pan play to pluck a card from a lazy-susan shoe. Mostly by older women that struggle to reach the center of the table where the shoe is. Some players wield these like a wand. they can spin the shoe around, pluck a card and when disgusted with a bad card can fling it into the discard pile with fair amount of force.
