I remember meeting Barry at his table at a convention years ago
He had a chip I wanted, but couldn’t swing the price
We talked a bit and he found out I had some VIP slot cards he wanted
So he gave me the chip and said send me the cards
I said "you don’t even know me?"
He says "you’re a club member and a volunteer"
"And 2 life members Janice O’Neal and RC Smith just said HI to you
you'll send the cards" : )
Funny thing, when i did send the cards, he had forgotten about the trade and thanked me for remembering
I never forgot that man’s generosity and trust
That’s what the club is all about
