The Atlantic City $500 play and back up were worth several hundred dollars, the $100 & back up > $1,00. Only two of the $100 if I remember correctly, mine cost me >$2,200.00.

Suddenly a hole full of AC playboy chips were found and the chips all became worthless !

Worse, ,it destroyed the hobby !!

What had been a very large group of exited collectors with chips that were going up in price because at the time all Playboy casinos had been closed, deteriorated into a few collectors that did not want to believe what happened. The hobby almost died, collectors felt a large moral lump and the chips suddenly had no attraction....maybe one day all with re-start...My collection is still intact and was one of the largest one, but, the fervor is gone!! Welcome Cuba and Agua Caliente! Until they find another hole!
