I ran into the same type of effect a few years ago. I was at the Nashville flea market talking to a dealer about casino chips. All of a sudden my left leg felt warm. It turns out that is because it was on fire! My brand new blue jeans had about a 1"diameter hole in them from the fire caused by one of those concave makeup mirrors that had the sun shining on it and it all concentrated on my leg. Yeow!
