If you removed that text by hand , nicely done!
I just posted that as a quick example , did not flatten the image so anyone with fireworks could open it and remove the top layer , or by hand. I agree that the juice has to be worth the squeeze , as in the more complex of a watermark the less likely it will be removed.
Ive tried several other things tonight and have not been able to come up with a foolproof way of making sure your images cannot be used elsewhere, it seems your best bet would be to disable right clicks and using a watermark that would cover the entire image ( which would be a lot of work if you have hundreds or thousands of images )
I think the easiest solution may be to just throw up some text stating that your images are not to be used without permission. I think most chippers are good honest people , and would only use your images if they believe it to be ok.
