A little earlier there were a couple of posts about a "Lead Trial Strike" of a Club Convention Token that is for sale in this years Club Auction.

Shown below are some early Convention "Proof Strikes" of the Club Bronze and Silver Tokens.

These Tokens were struck on special polished planchets (blanks), also the Silver tokens are NOT #ed on the edge as all regular issued Silver tokens were. The silver pieces have a real nice mirror finish and frosted devices.

I picked these up a few years ago from a former Club officer. I don't believe many of these "Proof" tokens exist, but I know of at least one other Club member has some of these in his collection. If you have any of these available - I would be interested in acquiring the ones I do not have in my collection.
