Paulson Style 26: more of the story

Several months ago, there was a thread on the bb about the red Paulson inlaid sample chips that represented all the edge spot combinations they offered (not all the colors, though). Jovito found and posted a yellow inlaid sample that was the only one known for the mysterious missing style26: four large Vee inserts split with another color.

I have been searching since for another sample chip of this design but haven't found any others besides an updated yellow sample that had the PGI logo. I offered the yellow sample chips in a post here a few days ago as part of a "Big Samples" sale.

In an effort to see if any chips of this design were actually made I did a search of my collection, the Chip Guide, and Paul Hegge's site. The answer is yes, they did!

Not too surprisingly, most of these were big denomination chips, $1000 and up, since that's the sample they had to show the casino guy who was selecting designs. A little unexpected was the several tournament chips that were made in this design!

Here is what I found:

The thousands, including the Bellagio $25,000 (which may be the design taken by the Motorcycle Robber last year). The Paris is split with a lighter blue color; look closely.

The Hundreds, including both the numbered and unnumbered Palace Station chips:

A $25 WSP tournament chip from RIO. There are also 100 and 500 denominations, which I need.

And finally, the stupendous set of tournament chips from Aquarius in Laughlin. There's also a 500 which I need:

I really only looked at Nevada chips, and mostly Las Vegas. Does someone know of Paulson26 styles used by another casino? They have to have the sloping shoulders of the Vee insert to qualify; three rectangular colors side-by-side is another style.

And somebody please find a Paul-son sample in style26 other than the 1000's!

Don - how about one from your home state?
That meets the design standard!
