The variation is actually the Stackrite mold. The book I am looking at does not have a picture but the description is:
STAR & CRESCENT
Mold#97 Stackrite
Mike Roybal
Box 1353
Flagstaff, AZ
1951

I am curious to know what is on the other side of your chip? There were only 50 of each denomition (color) made and only 4 colors so with only 200 chips it would be a very small operation. Your chip color is not listed and if I remember right your chip has the same hot stamp on both sides? He might have reordered more chips because Roybal also ordered 300 of these hot stamped HORSE chips on the Stackrite mold in 1951. I have not been able to find anybody that has one in their collection so the chips lost or destroyed? Perhaps he got busted? I can not find any history on Roybal in Flagstaff at all.
