I personally wait 2 weeks (10 business days) before I click "contact the seller". I then ask what date they shipped it out, so I can watch for it. I'll also tell a seller if it's going to take me more than 3 days to make payment (sometimes I need to transfer funds from ING Direct...etc).

But lately, buyers on are extremely impatient. Just because the USPS offers 3-5 day mail doesn't mean a seller has to get out of his/her PJ's in the middle of the night and drive to the all-nite DIY USPS store and send your damn crap out the minute you win it!

Buyers are allowed a 7 day grace period to pay for their . What, if any, grace period are sellers allowed?

And yeah, block the bonehead from buying from you again.
