Unfortunately, some of us DO forget... rofl
In Response To: You never forget... ()

I can't remember what my first chip purchase was, unfortunately, and chances are it is no longer in my collection. I started out in the early 90's collecting chips from Las Vegas, mostly fractionals which was all that I could afford. Then, I discovered Dave & Debbie Harber's "Cheques in the Mail" and would anxiously wait for the next months chip listing to arrive in the mail so I could slowly add to my collection. One a trip to Las Vegas in the summer of 1995, my wife & I stumbled into the Hard Rock Hotel after having lunch at the Hard Rock cafe...and that was it!! Rock & roll music and gambling & drinking...FANTASTIC!! I used to make trips out to Las Vegas on Fridays for the new chip releases...lots of fun.

But for the life of me, I just can't remember the chip that started it all. grin
