Hunt was one of the largest and oldest gambling supply mail order outfits in Chicago. They owned the chain rim mold, seen on some of the pictures below. Besides all kinds of gambling equipment (much of it dishonest, as seen in the catalog), they were big in embossed tokens, punch boards and tip books and pull tabs. Lots of novelty and magic ads. The most mentioned stuff in the catalog are crooked dice and playing cards.

(Last month, I advertised and sold here the Hunt's 1954 catalog, which is very similar to this 1955 one. The 1954 one had 48 pages. I just acquired this one (see ""55A" on the cover) today. It has 63 pages, the extra pages being mostly punch board advertisements.)

The only Gene Autry film where the leading lady, Barbara Britton, is equally billed above the title as the co-star, thereby knocking his horse Champion out of the honors, if one chooses to overlook the 1941 novelty from 20th Century-Fox that had Jane Withers and Gene Autry above the title in that order.
