Adding to Don's commentary...

It may be difficult to find just the five separated from the numbered set of 3 chips.

At around that time, I was visiting Laughlin pretty often and I continually checked in with the Pioneer cage looking for the $1 and $5 ($25 was out of my price range) from broken sets of the three. I say "broken" sets, because the cage refused to sell these chips except as a set of 3. At no time was I ever able to get any individual chip from the set.

Later on (after I stopped going there so often) they may have changed their policy, but I can't recall ever seeing one of the 3 chips outside of a set of all 3.

Good luck in your search!

Jim
