The U.S. Postal Service is criticized often, much of it deserved, so I thought I'd share this story of a good job that it did over the weekend.

Late Saturday morning I mailed a chip in a bubble mailer from a post office here in Las Vegas to Don Tassie in New Hampshire. I figured with all the weather-related problems in the Northeast that Don probably wouldn't receive the chip until Wednesday or Thursday at the earliest. But Don emailed me today to let me know that the chip had arrived safely, less than 48 hours after I mailed it. Even without weather issues, that's impressive.
