I think I was told the same thing.

Both these pieces came from the home office of a well-known casino operator in the UK about 20 years ago who was buying up casinos in the UK at the time (19 the three years prior). They were given to me by the head of security of that group with other UK plaques of the same type construction so that's why I feel they're UK... but of course they can be from somewhere else.
