(NCR) My interesting little eBay triumph.

I collect movie lobby cards with gambling scenes. For $14.99 I bought 4 lobby cards from the movie "Omaha Trail." I only needed the one with the poker game scene, so I put the other three lobby cards up for auction. It just went for $40.00! It did so well because I decided to mention the names of two supporting players in the auction title -- Dean Jagger and Chill Wills. Two relatives (?)/collectors of those two guys made 33 bids against each other -- jaggerwo51 and williamjwills.

This is the auction I won for $14.99:

This is the auction where I sold three of the lobby cards for $40.00:

The four lobby cards:

Wills appears in three of the lobby cards -- he's the guy with the whip in the lower-right card. .. .... Jagger appears in two of the cards -- he's the guy in the blue jacket in the upper-right card. The two actors are quite well known, having made dozens of movies, mostly as character actors. Jagger, by the way, won a "best supporting" Oscar for his role in "Twelve O'Clock High," a terrific World War II Gregory Peck war movie about military leadership and air raids against Germany from bases in England. One of my favorite movies; everyone should see it. It was nominated (but lost) for Best Picture and Best Actor Oscars.

Happy trails,
Robert
