We were thinking rather than flying from NY to somewhere (and top of our list currently are Chicago & somewhere in Colorado) we'd drive/bus it down to Philidelphia & after that DC.

Easy enough to kill a couple of days in those two places I'd imagine. (and I always make it a habit of steering clear of politicians....and politics most of the time as well!)
