I have a couple chips with a J.P.C. hot stamp. I see the exact same hot stamp on chips from Gene's Illegal research project and Ed Hertel's on line Chip Guide. Of course the colors and mold types of the chips are different from each club. My question is did the same distributor handle both molds? Were the same people involved with both clubs? Was it likely multiple hot stamp dies were used? Did a distributor just feel neither owner would see each others chips? Do identical stamps show up on many different club chips? OK, it's more than one question. Thanks for any input.
