Interesting note TABARIN CASINO "1000" WWII closed

Other than the "100" and "500" seen at Global ChipGuide, exists a few of these "1000" plaques... Prior to my find of the 1000's (along with a few 500's and several 100's) there was only ONE TABARIN jeton known by French collectors -- a "5" with a serial number 0820, that was listed in a Victor GADOURY publication in about 1990 with nothing else known.

That piece, of course, is the rarest known of this Art-Deco production.

Here's the "1000" translucent (as is the 500 translucent)... of which I had the honor years ago adding a few of these examples to club members' collections and one or two collectors in Europe.

CASINO TABARIN - NICE, FRANCE

66 x 48 mm - No 30 / 30
