My story

In March of 2010 my wife Sandy and I moved to Henderson, NV.
I had an interest in collecting chip but did not have a clue as to how to begin. One night at a show we meet Chris and Sheldon Smith waiting for our cars.
Sheldon gave me his card and when we got home at 10 pm I looked at the card and said WOW this guy collects chips.
I emailed that night and asked how to start collecting.
Sheldon lead me down the path of collecting and we chat about collecting all the time.
Dale and Sally from the Las Vegas club have also been very helpful.
Bill in Chicago always has good things to say with great advice.
Since then we joined the local chip club in Las Vegas and the National Club.
I have been at casinos for new chips at 3 am and other crazy times to get new chip before the new ones are all taken by the master collectors.
I have found some hard to find chips, sold a few, traded and have been able to build a little collection for myself.
Not really looking to expand, Dice came into my world and you can go crazy with them.
I have meet many good people from around the world by collecting chips.
Lunch with Gene to learn a little about illegal chips. What a wealth of knowledge Gene has.
Played poker at the M with many great collectors and have even bought a few chips used in movies.
It is a great hobby and you do not have to be wealthy to collect.
Sometimes the chase for a special chip is an adventure all by itself.
Thanks to everyone that has helped me for the past three years
Good luck to all
