I hope everyone had a Happy New Year. 
The lottery contests will continue in 2013. I encourage every 
member that is not on this list to post an "I'm in" link to this post and I will add you to the list of contestants (shown at the bottom of this email).
This is a FREE contest. You NEVER have to send me any money. Any time the Powerball® or Mega Millions® jackpot reaches $100 million dollars or more, I buy $5 or $6 dollars worth of tickets. Andy Hughes (LM-2471-52) has been consistently adding funds to buy more tickets for every jackpot, increasing our chances. If you have been happy with this contest in the past, Andy is as responsible for it as I am.
When we hit the jackpot, it will be divided equally among the contestants.
In 2012, as a group we were in the running for over $10 billion dollars in jackpots ($2.76 billion in Mega Millions and $7.34 billion in Powerball). We won an approximate total of $56 dollars.
I will print the 2013 Contest Rules below just so everyone has a clear understanding. I did make one change this year - I deleted the ¼ share payout for associate members. For a while last year there was a push to add associate members (so I added the clause to encourage it), and then there was a "backlash" to the idea of encouraging underage people to collect gambling chips. Either way, it did nothing to increase members (associate or not) to join my contests.

LOTTERY CONTEST RULES
(1) I am the only judge & jury on any disputes.
(2) members only - you must be a member in good standing at the time of the drawing to be included.
(3) You must be on my contestant list to be in my contests.
(4) If we hit the jackpot, every eligible club member on my contestant list will get 1 share. The jackpot will be divided accordingly, and within all federal & state tax regulations.
(5) If the ticket(s) win any prize other than the jackpot, I will decide what to do with the funds.
(6) This is a contest run by me personally. It is in NO WAY sanctioned or monitored by the , "thechipboard.com" or their respective webmasters.
(7) Any complaints see rule #1.
If these rules are a problem to anyone on my contestant list, please let me know and I will remove your name from it.
