Well... the good news (for me) is that I started keeping all of our memory cards a few years ago, so we didn't lose any photos .

And...I hadn't put any major effort into scanning stuff for at least 6 months, so I could have lost a lot more!

And...as soon as I figure out where I am, "backup, backup, backup" will be my new motto!

And...if nothing else, when scanning, I'll scan into a "master file" that will be copied onto flash drives or an external drive or onto both computers or all of the above!
